Some Star Wars Barside Buzz today indicates that Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) might be in Ahsoka Season 2. A new article by Bespin Bulletin points to a possible clue/evidence that McGregor may have joined his wife Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Hera) in Season 2 of Ahsoka.
McGregor appears keen to come back as Kenobi, but opportunities to do so are very limited. There was talk of developing a Season 2 of Obi-Wan Kenobi. However, the first series was in my opinion poorly executed and stretched plausibility already. I’m not sure continuity would survive a Season 2.
However, on to the source,
Bespin found an online content creator who had been posting videos showing himself wearing various crew items from Season 2. Check the link above for some of the images of the crew gear posted.
However, they also posted this in one of their social media posts.
“The one where I got to have a go in an ATAT was pretty great. but I also really enjoyed the imperial star destroyers. Oh and when Ewan let me hold Ahsoka’s Lightsaber. That was definitely a favourite Star Wars moment. :)”

Does he mean Ewan McGregor, or someone else? That I think is the key question here. Though even if he is referencing Ewan McGregor, the star could have simply been on set supporting his wife. Plus, he’s Obi Wan so of course he’s gonna be messing about with Ahsoka’s sabers, given his training.
Conclusion?
Look, what possible reason could there be for a currently deceased Obi-Wan to appear in Ahsoka Season 2? Unless it is a flashback of some kind, the only other option would be Force Ghost and we already have Hayden Christensen as Anakin filling that role within Ahsoka. So, is there reason for Kenobi to appear we can think of currently?
Then again, if he’s there and there’s a scene in mind, you never know? Scooper Kristian Harloff did claim McGregor was reprising his role as Kenobi in Season 2. So it is absolutley possible.
I just would not take this as the proverbial smoking gun, for the reasons I outlined above.
