It’s not over yet for Sung Jinwoo.
Aleks Le, the English voice actor for Sung Jinwoo, appeared on the Crunchyroll stage at Anime Expo 2026 to surprise fans with the announcement that a new film for the beloved Solo Leveling series, titled Solo Leveling: Beyond the System, is in the works.
Story details for Solo Leveling: Beyond the System are still kept under wraps as it is under construction.
The theatrical film will be a direct continuation of the series after the events of season two.
Based on the South Korean fantasy web novel written by Chugong, the anime television series premiered in 2024, with its second season premiering a year later.
Here is the description of the series:
Solo Leveling follows Sung Jinwoo, humanity’s weakest E-Rank Hunter. After surviving a deadly “Double Dungeon,” he is chosen by a mysterious program called “the System.” Unlike any other Hunter, he gains the unique ability to infinitely level up, transforming into an unstoppable Necromancer and the Shadow Monarch.

Solo Leveling: Beyond the System is animated by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online). No release date has been announced either. More details will be released at a later date.
