Continuing the video game series Solo Leveling, Netmarble made a slew of announcements about its next chapter, Solo Leveling: KARMA, during Anime Expo 2026.

The panelists provided an expanded look into the game’s original storyline, the debut of the all-new Corrupted Hunters, a brand-new trailer and key art, and the surprise cast announcement of actor Troy Baker as the Monarch of Destruction.

During the presentation, the storyline details for Solo Leveling: KARMA explore the untold 27-year war between Jinwoo and the Monarchs. Following the events of the original series, Jinwoo enters the Dimensional Gap after using the Cup of Reincarnation, embarking on a prolonged conflict against the Monarchs that has never been depicted before.

Also, the fans in attendance got a first look at the Mutated Hunters, who are the original enemies created by the Monarchs to eliminate Sung Jinwoo. Gameplay footage was shown with Jinwoo fighting the formidable foes while teasing the emotional conflict that arises as familiar faces return as enemies.

As an Anime Expo 2026 exclusive, brand-new key art and a promotional video were released for the audience. The artwork features the original version of Sun Jinwoo alongside Antares, the Monarch of Destruction, the Mutated Hunters, and additional original characters from the game. The trailer hinted at another major reveal to be announced in September 2026.

However, the biggest surprise was the announcement of voice actor Troy Baker to the cast. He will voice Antares, the Monarch of Destruction, in Solo Leveling: KARMA. It marked the first official reveal as the English voice actor, although the character previously appeared in promotional materials for the game.

“I really do love the show, and I’m freaking out,” said Troy Baker in a video message to the audience, as he could not attend Anime Expo 2026 in person. “I’m proudly stepping into the shoes of the Monarch of Destruction, the King of Dragons, Antares.”

Voice actor extraordinaire Aleks Le was at Anime Expo 2026 in person and treated fans to a live dubbing performance of an in-game story sequence recreating the intense confrontation between Sun Jinwoo and Antares. For the rest of the panel, there were prize giveaways, including contest winners receiving signed posters from Aleks Le and Troy Baker during a trivia contest, a Q&A session, and more first looks at the new game footage.

The date of release has not been revealed at this time.
