We’re in that awkward and slow section in between Christmas and New Year’s, and with that, there is very little news to go on. Sure, we got some details here and there, but in terms of big reveals, we haven’t a lot to go off of. But there are a few images from some hotly-anticipated film that have surfaced onto the web so why don’t we take a moment to at least appreciate those?
The images we’re getting are from none other than Aladdin, Dumbo, and Shazam!. I know. One of these things is not like the other, right? Regardless, all three are films we’re looking forward to, and I’ll be going over them from most exciting to least. Let’s go ahead and start with Aladdin.

This image shows us Jasmine speaking with her father, the Sultan of Agrabah. As we know from the original film, the Sultan desperately wants his daughter to marry by her birthday, per some random law of the kingdom. From the looks of the image, he’s likely reminding her of that, and it’s something she’s none too happy about.

Last up is from Dumbo. We’ve already seen a couple of trailers from this, so this isn’t exactly new. But it is a gorgeous shot, nonetheless. In it, we see Dumbo’s mom cradling her son and in the background we see Danny DeVito’s character ranting about something regarding his prize elephant. The picture itself tells a story and could almost be a piece of art in and of itself, which I love.
More from our 2019 preview issue, officially out today. Here's an exclusive new image from #Shazam with our hero Zachary Levi facing Mark Strong's Doctor Sivana. https://t.co/hTbA6FXYor pic.twitter.com/zu720q5gYb

The next image is from Shazam! Admittedly, it’s not incredibly new. If you’ve been following this movie, I’m pretty certain we’ve seen the shots from the film set of this. But, as far as the official capacity, I think this the first time we’ve seen Mark Strong’s Dr. Sivana, the villain of the flick. It’s only a profile shot, but it’s something, right?
