Jason Statham is a gentleman action hero. He’ll look good in anything—even in a three-piece suit for the new Guy Ritchie film Wrath of Man.
Based upon the French film Le Convoyeur, the crime drama follows a security guard in a planned heist.
The cast includes Jason Statham (Crank), Holt McCallany (The Losers), Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice), Josh Hartnett (Lucky Number Slevin), Laz Alonzo (The Boys), Raul Castillo (We Are Animals), Deobia Oparei (Game of Thrones) with Eddie Marsan (Happy-Go-Lucky), and Scott Eastwood (Suicide Squad). Ritchie directed the movie from the screenplay written by him with Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies.
Here’s the synopsis:
A mysterious and wild-eyed new cash truck security guard (Jason Statham) surprises his coworkers during a heist in which he unexpectedly unleashes precision skills. The crew is left wondering who he is and where he came from. Soon, the marksman’s ultimate motive becomes clear as he takes dramatic and irrevocable steps to settle a score.

The Guy Ritchie film was originally titled Cash Truck. If it’s anything like the 2004 French film starring Jean Dujardin, the movie shifts between timelines and perspectives with certain fairly violent scenes.
From the intense French trailer online and influences of Guy Ritchie, no doubt this will be one good gritty crime thriller we’ll look forward to. Plus, Jason Statham is a bonafide action star, so there’ll be plenty of action in the movie.
Hopefully, a trailer is not too far behind for the movie.
Check out the first poster for Wrath of Man. For a security guard, he dresses too well in the three-piece suit. There’s definitely more to the plot with plenty of twists and turns.
