The Strongest Punch is back! Season 2 of One Punch Man is nearly here. During the ongoing Jump Festa event held in Tokyo, Japan, VIZ media released a teaser for the upcoming season 2 of One Punch Man. Though you may not have attended Jump Festa (yeah, I’m assuming it’s most of you), VIZ media has gone ahead and dropped the trailer onto Twitter.

Despite the sighting of any new footage, VIZ media did release the official plot synopsis.
“The great seer Madame Shibabawa’s prediction about the Earth being doomed seems to be coming true as the frequency of monster incidents escalates. Alongside Genos, his faithful disciple, Saitama begins his official hero duties as a member of the Hero Association, while Garou makes his appearance.”

Initially, I stayed away from the anime for a while after its initial release. Mainly due to the fact the hero was described as having the ability to defeat opponents with one punch. Reluctant at first, I did eventually dig into the first episode. Especially enjoyed the comical fact that despite being the most powerful man, Saitama is basically considered a C-class hero early on and is less popular than a dude who rides a bike named Mumen Rider. That bicycling crime fighter had some goddamn guts! I really dug One Punch Man’s first season. It had a good balance of humor, epic destruction, and tragedy. Maybe Saitama might master the art of growing his hair back this season.
