A murdered ghost must solve her own mystery in School Spirits for Paramount+.
The high school series follows a young woman recently murdered at a high school with fragments of her last moments before death. Upon her realization, other dead high school spirits also haunt the campus grounds.
The series is adapted from the graphic novel written by Nate Trinrud and Megan Trinrud.
At the Television Critics Association 2023, the cast and crew addressed and revealed the teaser trailer for the series. The attendees included Peyton List, Nick Pugliese, Milo Manheim, showrunner/executive producer Oliver Goldstick, executive producer/writer Nate Trinrud, and executive producer/writer Megan Trinrud.
Nate Trinrud described the series rather than a “coming-of-age” story as a “coming-back-to-life” story.
Oliver Goldstick revealed during the panel presentation that all the high school ghosts know how they had died except for the main character ghost, played by Peyton List. The spirits that spanned over several decades will assist her in solving the crime.

During the panel discussion, Nick Pugliese revealed his character named Charley died in 1994, and Milo Manheim said his Wally Clark died in the 80s that he enjoyed mimicking a teen from that period.
Oliver Goldstick revealed the premiere date for School Spirits as March 9 with its first two episodes.
