Pixars Luca Packs Tons of Bonus Features In Its 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD Release

LUCA

TRENETTE AL PESTO! — Emma Berman, Jacob Tremblay and Jack Dylan Grazer provide the voices of a trio of new friends in Disney and Pixar’s “Luca.” Outgoing and charming, Giulia invites Luca and Alberto to her house where they have pasta for the first time—it’s a hit. What she doesn’t know, however, is that her new friends are actually sea monsters who just look human when they’re dry. Directed by Academy Award® nominee Enrico Casarosa (“La Luna”) and produced by Andrea Warren (“Lava,” “Cars 3”), “Luca” debuts on Disney+ on June 18, 2021. © 2021 Disney/Pixar. All Rights Reserved.

The Italian-themed mermaid (merman) story of Luca comes to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD from Disney and Pixar.

Although released on its streaming format Disney+ earlier this summer, the studio launches its physical digital media for those collectors, non-Disney+ subscribers, and any others who just enjoy watching the extra features.

The physical mediums includes two alternate openings, many deleted scenes, and much, much more.

Here’s the film synopsis:

Set in a seaside town on the Italian Riviera, Disney and Pixar’s Luca is a coming-of-age story about a young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer. Luca shares his amazing adventures with his friend Alberto, but their fun is threatened by a deeply held secret: they’re sea monsters from a world below the water’s surface.

The voice cast includes Jacob Tremblay, Jack Dylan Grazer, Emma Berman, Saverio Raimondo, Maya Rudolph, Marco Barricelli, and Jim Gaffigan. Enrico Casarosa directed the animation from the story by Casarosa, Jesse Andrews, and Simon Stephenson.
