Marvel Comics is set to deliver a pulse-pounding showdown this April with Predator vs. Spider-Man, a four-issue limited series that will pit the iconic web-slinger against one of pop culture’s deadliest hunters. Written by Benjamin Percy (Wolverine, Ghost Rider) and illustrated by Marcelo Ferreira (Moon Knight: City of the Dead), this crossover promises to be one of the most brutal battles in Spider-Man’s storied history.
Following the success of Predator vs. Wolverine and Predator vs. Black Panther, the latest installment introduces a new Yautja menace known as “Skinner.” Unlike his predecessors, Skinner operates with no clan and no honor—only an insatiable thirst for blood. Set against the backdrop of a New York City blackout during a blistering heat wave, Spider-Man will find himself stalked through the city’s sewers and subway tunnels by this relentless extraterrestrial assassin.

“Spider-Man is at the top of every writer’s wishlist. I’m thrilled and grateful to get this opportunity, putting this beloved webslinger against the galaxy’s greatest hunters in the urban wilderness of New York,” Percy said. “It’s so much fun to live in Peter Parker’s world—and to put my own wild spin on his relationship with MJ, Jonah Jameson, and (yes—oh, hell yes) Kraven. Marcelo Ferreira captures the visual dynamism of Spidey so well, and we’ve had a lot of fun designing a Predator that is unlike any other. This Yautja—who we’re calling Skinner—has no code or clan. He’s the perfect nightmarish foil to the big-hearted Parker.”
Fans eager to get a first look at the high-stakes action can now check out all six variant covers for Predator vs. Spider-Man #1, along with never-before-seen interior artwork. The series kicks off on April 23, and preorders are now available at local comic shops.
