For such a small rural town, Three Pines is full of eccentric townsfolk and murders. Luckily, local Deputy Yvette Nichol (played by Sarah Booth) assists the sharp Inspector Gamache (played by Alfred Molina) with its mysteries.
Based on a series of crime novels by Louis Penny, Three Pines are two-part episodic series with Gamache and his team solving murders with plenty of twists and colorful characters.
The series also stars Rossif Sutherland, Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers, Tantoo Cardinal, Clare Coulter, Anna Tierney, and Roberta Battaglia. Emilia di Girolamo created the series.
Here is the synopsis of Three Pines:
A man investigates murders in Three Pines; he sees things that others do not: the light between the cracks, the mythic in the mundane, and discovers long-buried secrets and faces a few of his own ghosts.
