When a small indie film like Gun and a Hotel Bible came along, he jumped on the opportunity to co-direct with Alicia LeBlanc to challenge himself with something different.
Based on an award-winning play, Gun and a Hotel Bible tells the story of Pete, a desperate man on the verge of a violent act, and his encounter with Gideon, a personified hotel bible. As Pete and Gideon spar over ideas about morality, the Bible, and God, they are forced to deal with their inadequacies. With the clock ticking, can Gideon sway Pete from pulling the trigger?
The film stars Bradley Gosnell (The Smurfs) and Daniel Floren (The Influencers).

LRM Online’s Gig Patta talked with co-directors Raja Gosnell and Alicia LeBlanc. We talked about the approach of adapting a small play on to the screen and their shared duties.
Raja Gosnell is one of the most accomplished editors and directors in the industry. He edited iconic films, including Teen Wolf Too, Heartbreak Hotel, Pretty Woman, Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Rookie of the Year, and Mrs. Doubtfire. After editing two Home Alone films, his directorial debut came with Home Alone 3, which introduced a new set of characters no tied to the previous films. His sophomore film came with Never Been Kissed starring Drew Barrymore, which became a romantic hit. Then he found his footing in family comedies with two live-action Scooby-Doo movies, two live-action The Smurfs movies, and Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
Alicia Joy LeBlanc marks her directorial debut with Gun and a Hotel Bible. She directed the play version for the 2018 Hollywood Fringe Festival. She is a character actress and writer in Los Angeles.
