We still don’t know very much about what is going to happen in Avengers 4 other than what we can piece together. After the events of Avengers: Infinity War, the options are literally limitless to where Marvel could go next. The only thing we all seem pretty sure about is that Avengers 4 will feature time travel.

Talking of time travel, we have a new rumor that’s popped up over at MCU Cosmic. The outlet says that they think grandfather of Thanos, the Eternal Kronos will make an appearance in Avengers 4. Now, there are several ways that this makes perfect sense. For starters, we have heard already that Jim Starlin (creator of Thanos) has indicated another of his creations will appear in Avengers 4, check. We also know that Marvel is seriously considering an Eternals movie in the future, check. It’s also probably fairly obvious with a name like Kronos that this particular Eternal can manipulate time, and this links with the whole time travel plot we expect from Avengers 4, check.
Now of course as with all rumors, please pick up your bag of salt at the door on the way out. This could feel like it’s correct given the connections I’ve stated above, but that’s a long way from actually being a spoiler. Perhaps as time goes on and Avengers 4 moves ever closer (I can’t wait), we will be able to filter out the good and bad rumors. However, right now as I said above, literally anything is possible.
