Another Marvel rumors roundup and today the Buzz is around Hulk’s role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, plus no Spider-Man or Daredevil in Doomsday. Let’s begin with Avengers: Doomsday and we have two heroes rumored to be out the mix. One, slightly surprising and the other really isn’t.
According to Daniel RPK, Spider-Man is either not in Doomsday or has a minimal role.
The problem with the Multiverse Saga is that there’s no clear main character. In the Infinity Saga we had Tony and Steve showing up in nearly every other movie alongside other characters. Now? Shang-Chi hasn’t appeared in five years, Spider-Man is the only hero with more than one… pic.twitter.com/XEhyPvptom

“But Spider-Man isn’t in Doomsday, at least not in a major role unless they add him later.”
Makes sense since as whilst Doomsday films in London, Tom Holland has been in Glasgow filming Brand New Day. Then again, production on the new Spider-Man film has just moved to London, where Doomsday is shooting. Therefore, it will definitely be possible to get Holland into Doomsday. As Daniel says though, it can’t be a big role. Perhaps Secret Wars is the one that Holland will play a big part in?
Meanwhile, MTTSH says there’s no chance Daredevil (Charlie Cox) is secretly in the film. Clearly in response to being asked about a secret Marvel hero she previously discussed.
As of now Daredevil is not in the film. I hope they'll add a cameo later on https://t.co/xAFSynFNRR

To be fair, It’s seemed pretty obvious for a while that Cox was not in Doomsday and he’s been quite up front telling that to anyone who asked.

Lastly TCC‘s Alex Perez seems to be claiming to have some knowledge on Hulk’s role, or perhaps headspace going into Brand New Day.
“Banner is at his wits’ end. With the events of She-Hulk and Brave New World, he realizes now that his worst fear has become real. People can become the Hulk, and it really puts a stress on his behavior. That’s the starting point for him on Brand New Day.”
Alex also claims that this leads into the Hulk we will see in Doomsday.
“[sets up] his role up for Avengers: Doomsday, not for another Hulk movie.”
Now this is from Alex’s Q&A’s. I don’t normally cover these as there’s a lot of speculation in the answers and I find it a little…deliberately vague, to be polite. Alex has got a lot wrong recently as well. Therefore, as always I’ll judge a leaker on their recent record, not their whole leaker history. This could be turned around later to say he was speculating, based on what we’ve seen in the aforementioned previous appearances.
Pinch of salt on all of these rumors though as always. I think however, the previous two seem to make sense, whether they are leaks or not. Likewise, the latter is probably also true, whether it’s a leak or not.
