Last year’s Thor: Ragnarok was certainly an interesting film to behold. It effectively threw everything we knew about Thor out the window, and sprinted in a completely different direction than we would have expected following something like Thor: The Dark World.
With its new attitude, over-the-top and fast humor, and bright colors, it also took on some legit world-altering circumstances that will forever affect the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. As a result, both fans and critics alike took to the film like flies to honey, and they weren’t the only ones. Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to report his own personal thoughts on the film.
Late to the party on Thor: Ragnarok. I dislocated my face laughing. @TaikaWaititi is an international treasure. Protect his mind and body at all costs. @thorofficial

Needless to say, Reynolds was — like many other viewers — quite the fan of Thor: Ragnarok, and it’s definitely opened the doors for director Taika Waititi. Since the film hit, there have been talks of him potentially taking on projects like Star Wars and Akira.
Given Waititi’s tendency not to take things too seriously, seeing an adaptation of the latter property would be an interesting prospect, to say the least, and on a personal level, I’d much rather see that come to fruition than even a Thor 4 film.
