For the sensational American hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan, every member was an important piece of the chessboard that harmonized to be one of the most successful musical groups. As for Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga, RZA, along with writer Alex Tse, composed a successful television series about the musical group that combined music, storytelling, and performance.
Now in its second season with the streaming service Hulu, the musical hip hop group is on the brink of formation as they realized their talents can take them off the streets.
Here’s the official synopsis of Wu-Tang: An American Saga:
The Clan is disillusioned with life in the projects, and Bobby knows that success in the music industry could be their ticket to better lives. But getting the Clan members to drop everything for music isn’t easy. The resentment between Dennis, Sha, Power, and Divine still runs deep, while the other Clan members struggle to deal with intercity life. This time around, Bobby is dedicated to authenticity and though he knows he can lead his crew through the challenges of the music business, the Clan’s fractures may prove too much to overcome.
The streaming series star Ashton Sanders, Shameik Moore, Siddiq Saunderson, Julian Elijah Martinez, Marcus Callender, Zolee Griggs, T.J. Atoms, Erika Alexander, and Dave East. RZA and Alex Tse created the series.
