Sharon Lawrence on Fish Out of Water Character in Spectrum’s Joe Pickett [Exclusive Interview]

Sharon Lawrence in Joe Pickett

One can always put a country girl into the big city. However, a city girl placed in the countryside is a totally different scenario. In the series Joe Pickett, Sharon Lawrence plays Missy, the spoiled mother forced to live with her daughter’s family Marybeth Pickett after Missy’s fiancee was arrested for financial dealings.

Missy in her own ways deals with a new life in the countryside as Joe and Marybeth Pickett solve a conspiracy mystery that may overtake this small rural town.

Here is the synopsis:

Joe Pickett, based on the book series of the same name, follows a dedicated game warden and his family as they navigate the shifting socio-political climate of a small rural town on the verge of economic collapse. When a murder victim winds up on Joe’s doorstep, a larger conspiracy looms, and the Picketts find themselves in the crosshairs. Without the support of local law enforcement, Joe alone must decide what it means to be a good man and a good father in a world on the edge.

The cast includes the series regulars of Michael Dorman as Joe Pickett, David Alan Grier as Vern Dunnegan, Julianna Guill as Marybeth Pickett, Paul Sparks as Wacey, Mustafa Speaks as Nate Romanowski, Skywalker Hughes as Sheridan Pickett, and Kamryn Pilva as Lucy Pickett. Recurring guests include Patrick Gallagher, Chad Rook, Benjamin Hollinsworth, Leah Gibson, and Aadila Dosani.
