Shazam! Fury of the Gods is filling out its cast nicely ahead of production.
Zachary Levi returns as the adult, superhero version of Bill Baston, who will again be played by Asher Angel. David F. Sanberg will also return in the director’s chair. Henry Gayden is also returning to pen the sequel to Shazam!
THR reports that Lucy Lui has been cast as the villainess Kalypso. The character is the second daughter of Atlas. She is sister to Hespera, another villain. Helen Mirren is playing the latter sister.

Another new cast member is newcomer Rachel Zegler. She is the lead of Steven Spielberg’s West Wide Story.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods begins shooting this May. It is set for release on June 2, 2023.
