Smile 2 | Naomi Scott Addresses the Music, Smiling, and The Hype of Drinking Water

Naomi Scott’s career has had a tremendous trajectory, from action films to Disney musical remakes. Now, with the horror film Smile 2, she is expanding her talents, and her acting ranges from despair to fear and even high-anxiety paranoia, all under the guise of a pop star.

Smile 2 is the anticipated sequel to the surprise horror cult hit Smile, which in 2022 embedded unforgettable images of creepy smiles into the psyche.

The cast also includes Rosemarie DeWitt, Lukas Gage, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Peter Jacobson, Ray Nicholson, Dylan Gelula, Raúl Castillo, and Kyle Gallner. Parker Finn returns to the director’s chair from the script he wrote.

Here is the official synopsis:

About to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley (Naomi Scott) begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her dark past to regain control of her life before it spirals out of control.
