According to the latest Barside Buzz from a good source, Spider-Man 4 will be a team up with Venom against Knull. The information has come on the heels of a recent Venom: The Last Dance trailer which showed Knull, the God of symbiotes. Now Alex P from TCC is saying that he’s heard both Venom and Knull are showing up in Spider-Man 4.
We all had heard the rumors that there was an internal struggle between Spider-Man 4 being a street level movie or another Multiversal movie. Rumors were it was going street level, with possibly Daredevil and Kingpin. However, it sounds like you might have to wait for Spider-Man 5 for that movie.
“Recently, I heard that the upcoming Spider-Man film might pit Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Tom Hardy’s Venom together, with Venom: The Last Dance setting up the interaction. By the end of Venom: The Last Dance, we may see Eddie Brock cross over into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with some sources indicating that the recent reshoots in NYC for Venom: The Last Dance has to do with that, but that remains unconfirmed for now.”
“Not only that, but I’m hearing that the potential villain for this film would be Knull, who is seeking to enshroud the entire multiverse in his darkness following its discovery. It’s important to note that the Venom symbiote is currently in two different universes, the Sony-Verse and the MCU. This link may spark Knull to seek out Venom in 616 and be on a mission to engulf the multiverse in darkness.”

Sigh! I was really looking forward to that street level movie. Yet, I have zero interest in Tom Hardy’s version of Venom. Ergo, I have no interest in seeing him join the MCU, even for a one-off. Yet, you can totally see why this is priority number one for Sony and their failing SSMU.
Least it’s not Sony writing or making the film, but I’m still less excited for Spider-Man 4 if this is true.
