According to some Barside Buzz Spider-Man 4 will film next year for release in July, 2026. That’s what regular leaker Daniel RPK is saying and his record with Sony/Marvel movies is especially high. Of course this fits around what most in this industry assumed to be the timeline of Spider-Man 4. A date of July, 2026 fits with it coming in between Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
There is currently only one untitled Marvel movie slated for November, 2026 and many figured this could be where Spidey shows up. It would not of course be listed on Disney’s slate as this is officially a Sony movie like the three previous Spider-Man movies.
Given that this is set between both Avengers films RPK hints there could be some Multiversal elements again. Remember the pitch we all heard Feige preferred was a grounded street level based movies. However, lately rumors seem to suggest he may not have got his way, or plans were changed. I guess we shall see. It could after all be a prequel to Doomsday and still work being street level.

For now we also do not know whether Tom Holland’s Spidey will appear in Doomsday or Secret Wars. One would assume either one or both, but that’s yet to be confirmed. Given that the Russos just took charge and have brought back Stephen McFeely as writer, much could change from any old rumors.
I guess that information will come to light eventually, but it is worth noting that Spider-Man 4 and Doomsday at least could be filming around the same window. That could be intentional though, rather than an issue to be resolved.
What do you think of this rumor that Spider-Man 4 will film next year and release in July, 2026? Thoughts below as per usual.
