Spider-Man: Brand New Day officially wraps filming as the full trailer leaks online, plus we have the latest rumors around the film. Let’s begin with the official news for anyone avoiding spoilers. Namely that director Destin Daniel Cretton has revealed the movie has wrapped filming.

Variety has all the details and who Cretton thanked etc, but all you need to know is, the film has wrapped. 

**Now onto SPOILER Territory**

Last week a partial trailer for Brand New Day leaked online. Now the full trailer has leaked online and it has some scenes I was not able to describe in my initial coverage. You can find that description in the related section below. 

However, now to add on some important spoilers that are shown in this trailer, which has yet to be released officially online.

The main addition here is the scene some described before of Peter coming out of a web like cocoon. There’s clear evidence that Peter can now shoot his webs organically after some kind of transformation. It also seems that Peter’s Spider Senses have really been turned up a notch after this transformation. Lastly, we have a voice over, unknown source, explaining the three life cycles of some Spider’s indicating Peter is evolving. Then we see Peter go visit Professor Hulk for a chat just before the trailer ends. 

No links folks, but if I can find it online, so can you. Chances are it’ll be with us officially in a couple of weeks anyway. (Maybe sooner as per rumors below?)

Barside Buzz

Now onto some rumors, 

Daniel RPK on his Patreon has made some claims. One being that he says Rosario Dawson will reprise her Marvel Night Nurse role within Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Of course, Dawson’s character has connections to Frank Castle who is in this film, so perhaps it makes sense?

Daniel also claims that a relatively unknown comic book character, Frederick Boswell (Big Man) will appear in the film. This has led many fans to speculate that Travis Tillman may be playing both the head of the DODC and a crime boss. Kinda replicating the story Boswell had in the comics. 

There’s also a rumor the official trailer could release today or tomorrow, but we shall see if that pans out very soon.
