I love blooper reels on movies. In fact, if it’s a comedy movie, I want the blooper reel in the end credits, but for more serious films, the Blu-ray/DVD will suffice. For me, we just don’t get enough blooper reels anymore on movies and I loved the one Marvel did for Avengers 2012, yet I kinda missed there rarely being any others on Marvel releases.
Well, it looks like Sony is giving me yet another reason to pick up the Spider-Man: Far From Home 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. Along with a few extra features mentioned already, it seems like the movie has a nice blooper reel as well. You can catch this below from the official social media post, though, I do hope that’s just a small taste of all the bloopers in the movie. Spider-Man: Far From Home is set for release on Blu-ray and DVD October 1st, so check out the video below for a taste of what you’ll get.

There are some very funny moments on here and I loved the fact that Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Holland are just constantly cracking each other up in takes. Samuel L. Jackson also has a few good moments here. As said though, if this is the extent of the bloopers, and what we get on the disk is just the same as this, then I will feel a little cheated. I also think its bad marketing to reveal the whole thing, so I am hopeful this is just a portion of what’s on there.

There must surely exist a ton of these blooper reels for other Marvel movies that we have not seen yet, and some filmmakers just don’t like to include what are essentially the mistakes, because it takes away some of that movie magic supposedly. However, anyone who has done a little acting, even at an amateur level, knows that these things do happen and the skill is to be able to calm down, focus and still deliver the performance required. I guess I’m just saying that I want a blooper reel on the majority of movies, I mean sure, maybe not Schindler’s List, but 80% of them why not?
