Sony has confirmed that everyone will get to see the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer later today. Plus, No Way Home will get an early release in the U.K. We knew there was a special fan event in LA, however Sony did say they’d clear up when an online trailer would drop. Whilst we do not have a time slot, we know it will be after the LA screening event is over. Those attending that event will be first to see the trailer. Well unless you count these three below?

There are also rumors via insider Daniel Richtman that there are five alternative versions of this trailer waiting to go. Perhaps some of these will end up as TV spots, who knows? Richtman also says there will be no Spider-Men in the trailer bar Tom Holland. Grain of salt, but if true I find that a staggeringly bad move on Sony and Marvel’s part. The film is out in a few weeks and the game has been up for a long time. Why not double down and just reveal them now? It’s hardly going to hurt ticket sales is it?

Then again, maybe Garfield has been telling the truth all along and every leak and insider out there is wrong? Fat chance of that at this point though. Most fans figured this LA screening would see Maguire, Garfield and Holland (all currently in LA) appear on stage together. Even if only Holland appears in the trailer, I still feel there’s a chance that could happen. Sony could easily not show the Spider-Men in the trailer and then send the internet into meltdown just by releasing one official image of the three of them.
As for the U.K. thing. It’s hardly uncommon these days but Spider-Man: No Way Home will release on December 15th in theatres. That’s two days earlier than the rest of the world , and specifically America where it will be Friday 17th. I’ll be there on the 15th hopefully to see if all this hype was warranted.
