Stallone Back For a Fifth Rambo Film

Some franchises seem like they are never going to die. Case and point the Rambo franchise that began in 1982 with the first installment Rambo: First Blood and the latest installment in 2008 titled Rambo. Although it has been ten years since the last film was released it seems like it’s still not over for John Rambo played by Sylvester Stallone.

Deadline via Screen International is reporting that Stallone is set to return for a fifth Rambo film. Avi Lerner’s Millennium is starting to work on the project with a possible September shoot date. It is said that Stallone is working on the script and Lerner will produce.

This film is set to find Rambo working on a ranch. But when a close friend’s daughter is kidnapped, Rambo quickly reacts and goes into action. Crossing the U.S.-Mexican border, he soon finds himself going up against the force of one of the country’s most violent cartels.

Those action packed films are very entertaining. What are your thoughts on another Rambo film? Let us know in the comment section below!
