In a recent appearance at LA Comic Con star Paul Bettany comments on what he thinks the upcoming Vision Quest series is about. Bettany appeared on stage alongside his WandaVision co-star Liz Olsen. Most of what they discussed was their shared MCU past together.
However, as per, ThePopVerse who were in attendance, Bettany did give some thoughts on the Vision Quest series. A project Bettany only recently finished filming.
Check it out,
“It is about lots of things, and it’s super exciting. In the same way that WandaVision was about grief. If you said that before, you’d go, ‘Oh, I don’t think I should watch that show.’ It’s sort of about intergenerational trauma…”
“It’s about fathers and sons, and stuff, and denial of pain, and denial of your own truth, and coming to terms with who and what you are, and what you could be. And I think that one of the things that’s really powerful about the character is that he’s always in a state of flux, he can change. And I think that’s really important.”

Well, given Ultron was a sort of father to Vision (as AI’s go), and the rumored introduction of ‘Speed’ played by Ruaridh Mollica… Yeah, you can see Bettany’s thinking.
Of course, we will have to wait and see for ourselves when the series hits. There’s no official date for that as yet, but we should expect Vision Quest in 2026.
