Star Wars Eclipse Cinematic Reveal Trailer From Quantic Dream

Quantic Dream is a video game company that is a master of interactive storytelling. Personally, I’ve adored their game when I first played Heavy Rain back in 2010 of the multi-perspective mystery. Since then, they published Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human that advanced their interactive storytelling along with cinematic realism into video games. Once word got out they were doing a Star Wars interactive storytelling game, fans anticipated the first look of Star Wars Eclipse from the company.

Wait no more.

At the Game Awards 2021, Quantic Dream released the cinematic reveal trailer to the excitement of video gamers watching.

The storyline is as follows:

Set during the High Republic era, Star Wars Eclipse is an intricately branching action-adventure game that can be experienced in many ways and puts the destinies of multiple playable characters in your hands, created in collaboration between Quantic Dream and Lucasfilm Games.

If it’s anything like Quantic Dream’s previous games, the player will bounce from different characters and perspectives. Every choice made by the characters will have its own consequences that affect the later outcomes in the narrative. Thus, it allows different endings and multiple playthroughs.

With it being a Star Wars game, no doubt that Star Wars Eclipse will become an addicting video game just to witness the different results from the decisions of characters.

Sadly though, the video game is in its very, very early stages of development. Therefore, no release date or platforms have been announced at this time. It only launched a website at www.starwarseclipse.com.

For now, we can only admire the possible beautiful tease of the worlds being created in Star Wars Eclipse. Then use extreme patience to wait for a video game that may be years away.
