According to director Shawn Levy, Star Wars: Starfighter is half way done filming, plus Matt Smith isn’t on set till December. That’s the gist of the Star Wars news today folks. Let us start with director Shawn Levy who confirmed at the Stranger Things 5 premiere, that he’s half way through filming. Levy is an executive producer on Stranger Things and has been involved since Season 1.
Check out the video when Levy spoke to Deadline below. Levy talks about how lucky he feels to be making a Star Wars film still. The sets, the costumes, just blow his mind constantly. Plus he has some praise for star Ryan Gosling. Of course, as per the title, Levy also confirms they are around half way through filming principal photography.

Meanwhile, some days earlier, Matt Smith was at… (some Paul Smith designer event?) where he was asked questions by an audience. Smith discusses many topics, but the only one we are interested in, is what comes next, which is Star Wars. Smith is in the film and rumored to be a playing a villain. The actor states he won’t be heading to the London set for filming until December. Check it out if you want. Or, if you don’t want to watch a long video, just take my word for it, I’m not lying.
