Stranger Things 5 Volume 2 Trailer Teases A Very Dark Christmas Day

The Stranger Things 5 Volume 2 trailer  is here and it teases a very dark Christmas Day for all us fans. Well, If you live in the U.S. it should drop on Christmas Day for you. For me and my family, it’s probably a quiet day at home on Boxing Day watching Volume 2 in our pyjamas.

How times have changed, normally we’d all watch something intended for families. Yet, I’m reminded that I’ll be watching it with my wife and daughter. Therefore, this is probably the only ‘family’ TV event which could get us all together. I myself hadn’t even spotted the trailer was out, it was my daughter who showed it to me, as she began planning when we would watch it. Also reminding me it won’t be on Christmas Day for us, but the day after.

Anyway, this is family entertainment. When Stranger Things began my daughter was under 2 years old. Now, 9 years later she’s more excited than I am. So here is that Volume 2 trailer.

I do intend to review Stranger Things 5, but I will wait for the final piece on New Year, then review the entire season. I plan the same with Pluribus, but that’s for elsewhere. I won’t get into my family’s theory crafting, because we were not good going into Volume 1. Yet, that’s part of the fun isn’t it?

This trailer gives us a lot to ponder over. There’s far more new questions than answers, which is as a good trailer should be. And yet, inevitably Nancy has a gun and is ready to kick ass with it and Steve and Dustin are working together again. Some things never change, but I think some things will, also.

What do you think of the new trailer for Stranger Things 5 Volume 2? Thoughts below as always.
