The Batman Is Heading To Scotland For Reshoots Next Month
According to a national Scottish Newspaper, The Daily Record, The Batman is heading to Scotland for filming in mid-July. The Matt Reeves directed movie has already shot in Glasgow, though production was at that point halted for COVID lockdown. According to the paper, their sources say that these were not planned reshoots, and they expect it will be mostly stunt work. Though they did also point out that stars Robert Pattinson and Colin Farrell would be there.
After that, The Batman is heading to York, England for more filming.
“Filming will take place at the Necropolis again and also in the Merchant City and should take around a week in total. Then they’ll be heading down to York for a further two weeks’ work with a view to completely finishing production by the end of July.”
So according to these sources The Batman should wrap by the end of July. The Batman is currently slated for March 4th next year. That should allow plenty of time for putting the package together in post.

The main plot of The Batman seems to feature the Riddler as the main antagonist for Pattinson’s Bat. However, we also know that a heavily made up Colin Farrell is playing The Penguin. There are also rumors of various other’s of Batman’s Rogue’s Gallery rumored to be involved. However, until we get some confirmation either way, those are just rumors for now.
So The Batman is heading to Scotland again, my home land. I just hope this time they don’t all get infected by COVID like they did last time. What do you think of this news around The Batman? Leave any thoughts below as always.
