Could we be getting The Book of Boba Fett Season 2. So far there was nothing to indicate whether this show would be a one-off or a recurring series. However, some recent production crew merch shows an item showing The Book of Boba Fett Season 1! This usually always implies that a Season 2 is at least ‘planned’. Check out the posts below by the Boba Fett Fan Club. As you can see Buccaneer is confirmed to be the production title. You can of course see Buccaneer on Temuera Morrison’s top in the image below.
#SpoilerAlert: Before we shared these rumored #TheBookOfBobaFett crew graphics, there was speculation #Buccaneer was the working title for Mando S3 even as of early December – before Boba's show was revealed.

#SpoilerAlert: So, this adds some validity that 1) #Buccaneer is the working title for #TheBookOfBobaFett and 2) at least one crew graphics is real. What do you think, especially now with Temuera wearing this #Buccaneer sweatshirt?

So far there has been no hint of The Book of Boba Fett being more than just a single season. Though LRM were first to report a Boba Fett show was coming, that’s all we knew. Later reports from outlets said that they had heard it would be a mini-series when compared to the likes of The Mandalorian. I’m starting to wonder if those reports were a little off? You don’t really make a mini-series if there are plans to evolve into a Season 2 at some point.

It’s possible that the images in the top most post are fake, but that seems a real stretch. The far more simpler explanation is that these crew keepsakes are legit and that means at least some in Lucasfilm are referring to this as Season 1 of The Book of Boba Fett. Very interesting.
Fett is a darker character than Din Djarin, though not a villain as my The Cantina co-host Kyle Malone and I have always said. Fett is a very neutral character who has his own code, but will essentially do what it takes to get paid. What I am interested to see is whether his time in solitude has pushed him into anti-hero territory. After all, Djarin’s arc so far has pushed him from ant-hero towards hero, so it would be nice for Fett to fill the gap.
Are expecting to watch The Book of Boba Fett Season 2 at some point in the future? Does this change what you though about where The Book of Boba Fett would go story wise? Leave any thoughts below.
