The Boys has become a wildly successful series on Amazon’s streaming service. The dark and twisted take on corporate-backed superheroes has delighted audiences with its ultra-violence and dark humor. The series does have some detractors though. Some people are complaining of anti-Christian sentiment and even anti-American elements in the series. That hasn’t phased the people behind the series though. Before season 1 hit, Amazon was so sure of its creation it started production on season 2.

Looks like a bloody good time, doesn’t it? Yeah, I know… puns. The Boys tells the story of a group of corrupt heroes that are backed by a multi-billion dollar corporation. The heroes do good in public, mostly, but are mostly terrible people behind the scenes. A group of non-powered humans decides to take on the corrupt heroes and extract some real justice from a broken system.
