A new drama series premieres next week, The Green Veil. A setting that takes us to the 1950s starring John Leguizamo. Under the direction of Aram Rappaport and Melissa Tantaquidgeon Zobel as a co-executive producer who is of the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut and takes part as Native American consultant.
The Synopsis
A government agent in the 1950s tasked with an unraveling secret mission that threatens to expose deeper secrets. In his first ever leading role in a television series, John Leguizamo stars as Gordon Rogers, an immigrant who came into the US as a child and dedicated his life to achieving the American Dream. He experiences both an insidious obsession with that dream, and the societal limitations to it placed upon certain groups.
Some of the additional cast includes Hani Furstenberg (The Loneliest Planet), John Ortiz (Silver Linings Playbook), Irene Bedard (Pocahontas), and Isabelle Poloner (Law & order: Special Victims Unit).
The Network has given Latino Review Media an exclusive glance of John Leguizamo and Hami Furtenberg as “Mabel” in The Green Veil.
The Green Veil is scheduled to premiere April 30, 2024 with two episodes. Followed by a weekly episode every Tuesday.
