Foreigners should always be warned about committing crimes overseas in Southeast Asia. It is known for its poor treatment prison system for foreigners unaware of the consequences. In martial arts film The Lockdown, two siblings learn the hard way of a foreign prison system, which is also a front for an underground fight tournament.
The film stars Caity Lotz, Leo Howard, Michael Biehn, and Hon Ping Tang. Ryan Jaeger directed the film from the screenplay by Cameron Cubbison, Stephen Niver, H. Daniel Gross, and Jaeger.

In this action-packed thriller from a producer of Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, Caity Lotz (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash) and Leo Howard (Kickin’ It, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) star as siblings Charlie and Jack, who are trapped in Myanmar’s toughest prison and accused of a crime they didn’t commit. Forced into televised fights where inmates battle for the chance to escape death row, they face off against the deadliest opponents where each match could be their last. Charlie and Jack must work together, their bond tested in a high-stakes game where only the strongest can win their way out.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta talked with actor Leo Howard about his martial arts training, the prison set, Caity Lotz, and being in Thailand.
Leo Howard played the Young Snake-Eyes in the 2009 film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and Young Conan in the 2011 film Conan the Barbarian. Also, he is known as Jack in the Disney XD series Kickin’ It. In 2023, he joined the cast of Days of Our Lives as Tate Black.
