The Mandalorian and Grogu trailer is finally here after rumors last week it was imminently due to be published. Check it out the latest Star Wars movie trailer below,
This trailer isn’t very different from the leaked footage from the Star Wars trailer shown at conventions earlier this year. We see Sigourney Weaver in her role, rumored to be Colonel Bishop of the New Republic. We see a small shot of what we assume is Rotta The Hutt as a gladiator and a lot of Grogu doing Grogu things.
The Mandalorian and Grogu hits theatres on May 22, 2026 and is a continuation of the story begun in Seasons 1-3 of The Mandalorian on Disney+. It stars Pedro Pascal as Mando/Dinn Djarin alongside his new Mandalorian apprentice Grogu.

The Mandalorian and Grogu was written and directed by The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau. Dave Filoni was also involved in the creation of this film and it remains to be seen whether it follows a similar path to the already written Season 4 of The Mandalorian?
Most of the rumors around this film I’ve already covered above and are backed up by the trailer. However, there is a ton we do not know about this film and it’s been a while since we’ve had that with Star Wars. Leaks may appear closer to release, but the majority usual come duding the production period which has long been in post.
