Are you ready for some The Mandalorian Season 3 rumors about Praetorian Guards? If that sounds a little bit too spoilery for you then I’d suggest skipping this one. Some images came out over the weekend reported to be from The Mandalorian Season 3. I won’t post them here as I have mo idea who they belong to? However I will link you to a Reddit thread that has all three images shown on the thumbnail Here.
However once the images were out there, MSW came out with a new article perhaps adding some more bells and whistles on to things with what they have heard.
There was apparently filming for Mando 3 in Long Beach CA, this week. I was told at this location Din D’Jarrin fights with red troopers and Praetorian Guards. Actually I was going to hold off on this story but some photos just hit that skirt around the rumor I heard recently. I have a few details to add to this picture that is floating around the internet.
The information I head pertained to some filming for the third season The Mandalorian. A source told me Praetorian guards are in it with their weapons just like in The Last Jedi. They also mentioned that red Stormtroopers costumes with Mando style helmets were with the Praetorian Guards on a ship set.
Full disclosure I fixed a little grammar in the quote above from the source.

There is also some speculation that the outlet feels this is all leading to the First Order and Snoke. Now that is speculative, but I won’t disagree with that analysis. I think there will be number of fans who figured this may be where The Mandalorian goes eventually. There certainly are a lot of clues within the first two season of the show which point in this direction. Plus, we know Dave Filoni, one of Mando‘s exec producers has said previously the creation of the First Order will be addressed.
Unless there is a big time skip, I really cannot see Mando S3 getting into Snoke territory, however perhaps some kind of connection and a tease of what’s to come later I could see. I of course could absolutely be wrong about that as we don’t have a real timeline where Snoke first appeared? Ultimately we all know Snoke was just an Sidious replacement and that once director Rian Johnson killed him off, it was then ret-conned that Palpatine was really behind everything. I guess that means they can start Snoke as early as they like in the timeline?
What do you think of these The Mandalorian Season 3 rumors about Praetorian Guards? What do you think of the images, which do appear to have a more Mandalorian feel to them than Praetorian Guards? Thoughts below as always.
