After years and years of Hollywood seemingly being ready to return to the world of The Matrix in a reboot of sorts, it took the return of co-director Lana Wachowski to actually get the entire thing in motion — only this time in the form of a legitimate sequel, as opposed to a reimagining of the film we love so much.
Thus far, we know Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will somehow be reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity, respectively, as well as Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe. We also know that they’ve added newcomers Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, and Neil Patrick Harris. Now, they’ve added another to the film.

Collider is reporting that Jonathan Groff, known for voicing Kristoff in Frozen and playing Agent Holden Ford in Mindhunter has joined the cast. Unfortunately, we don’t know who he’ll be playing, but the outlet speculates that an agent of sorts is not out of the question.
