The Suicide Squad Clip Of The Detachable Kid Is So Freaking Weird

Gunn answers questions about The Suicide Squad

“Nathan Fillion’s T.D.K., aka The Detachable Kid, gets hands-on in this action-packed, IGN Premiere exclusive scene from James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.” So far, we have taken a good look at characters like Peacemaker, Harley Quinn, and Bloodsport. Also, The Suicide Squad‘s Twitter released a clip of King Shark for Shark Week. Today, IGN released an official clip of The Detachable Kid, played by Nathan Fillion, and… well… it’s so weird, but hilarious.

The clip shows off The Detachable Kid’s skills. He detaches his arms with a “my time to shine” look on his face. The look on my face was the same that Harley had. Also, I am loving the comments. One commenter wondered why didn’t he take guns with him? That would’ve been smart. Nathan Fillion has starred in Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog as Captain Hammer. Also, he’s done the voice of Green Lantern in many projects and Wonder Man in Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K.

The Suicide Squad stars Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, and Sylvester Stallone as Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Peacemaker, and King Shark. Also starring is Viola Davis and Joel Kinnaman as Amanda Waller and Rick Flag. The film was written and directed by James Gunn.

Everything I’ve seen so far for this movie has been hilarious and, luckily, the wait is almost over. The Suicide Squad will be released in theaters and HBO Max on August 6.

What did you think of the clip? Are you excited to see The Suicide Squad? Let me know in the comments.
