The Visitor has Finn Jones in a weird dilemma of facing his doppelganger.
According to the doppelganger legend, there is someone out there in the world with your likeness. However, if the person ever meets their doppelganger, the doppelganger will do everything in its power to kill and replace that person.
Well, that’s how the doppelganger legend works anyways.
Jones (Iron Fist, Game of Thrones) stars alongside Jessica McNamee (The Meg, Battle of the Sexes), Dane Rhodes (Déjà vu, The Magnificent Seven), and Donna Biscoe (The Fundamentals of Caring, One Missed Call). Justin P. Lange (The Dark) directed the movie from the screenplay written by Simon Boyes (Songbird, Broken) and Adam Mason (Blood River, The Devil’s Chair).
Here is the official synopsis for The Visitor:
When Robert and his wife Maia move to her childhood home, he discovers an old portrait of his likeness in the attic—a man referred to only as ‘The Visitor.’ Soon he finds himself descending a frightening rabbit hole in an attempt to discover the true identity of his mysterious doppelganger, only to realize that every family has its own terrifying secrets.
