Murders under the full moon. It definitely sounds like a werewolf on the loose.
In The Wolf of Snow Hollow, this murder horror mystery follows a ragtag police department solving a string of murders, which coincidentally have the markings of a werewolf.
The film stars Jim Cummings, Riki Lindhome, Robert Forster, Jimmy Tatro, and Chloe East. The movie also marks Robert Forster’s last film before his passing.
Here’s the official synopsis:
A small-town sheriff, struggling with a failed marriage, a rebellious daughter, and a lackluster department, is tasked with solving a series of brutal murders that are occurring on the full moon. As he’s consumed by the hunt for the killer, he struggles to remind himself that there’s no such thing as werewolves.

The movie has a lot of humor and mystery vibes to the tune of Fargo, but with a little bit of horror sprinkled in with the violent murders. As an indie film, this horror mystery did a great job with its captivating storytelling and quirky characters. It’s been a while since we’ve had a good werewolf story, and this film didn’t disappoint.
The Wolf of Snow Hollow releases in select theaters and On Demand tomorrow, October 9.
