In Robert Forster’s final feature role, Orion Classics released the first look images of the upcoming The Wolf of Snow Hollow.

The film follows a small-town sheriff, struggling with a failed marriage, a rebellious daughter, and a lackluster department is tasked with solving a series of brutal murders that are occurring on the full moon. As he’s consumed by the hunt for the killer, he struggles to remind himself that there’s no such thing as werewolves…

The movie stars Robert Forster (Jackie Brown, The Descendents), Jim Cummings (Greener Grass, 13 Cameras), Riki Lindhome (The Last House on the Left, My Best Friend’s Girl), Jimmy Tatro (American Vandal, 22 Jump Street), and Chloe East (Kevin Probably Saves the World, Ice). Jim Cummings directed and wrote the movie.

I love these murder mysteries that blends in with the horror movie twist. Not to mention, it has been a while since we had a good werewolf or killer wolf movie. It’ll be interesting when the first trailer of The Wolf of Snow Hollow is released.

On the side note, Robert Forster is a great actor. His intimidating and mature presence and stature always make him perfect for law and order type of characters. He played General Edward Clegg in Olympus Has Fallen, Detective McKnight in Mulholland Drive, and even Sheriff Frank Truman in the television series Twin Peaks. However, the versatile acting had numerous roles with other characters with Max Cherry in Jackie Brown, Scott Thorson in The Descendants, Arthur Petrelli in Heroes television series, and even Bud Baxter in the Last Man Standing television series. This great actor will surely be missed.

The Wolf of Snow Hollow releases in theaters and On Demand on October 9.
