Thomas Bezucha is the writer and director of the new western, Let Him Go. He brings to screen the adaptation of the novel written by Larry Watson. Bezucha has a way of extracting the talent out of an already excellent cast in this film.
Synopsis :
Following the loss of their son, retired sheriff George Blackledge (Kevin Costner) and his wife Margaret (Diane Lane) leave their Montana ranch to rescue their young grandson from the clutches of a dangerous family living off the grid in the Dakotas, headed by matriarch Blanche Weboy (Lesley Manville). When they discover the Weboys have no intention of letting the child go, George and Margaret are left with no choice but to fight for their family.
Thomas Bezucha is a writer, director and producer. Before being a filmmaker he spent a decade in Creative Services at Polo/Ralph Lauren. Bezucha made a successful debut as a filmmaker with Big Eden in 2000. Till today it is one of the most honored films in the history of gay and lesbian film festivals. He went on with The Family Stone and Monte Carlo and now his fourth feature with Let Him Go.
