Two pieces of Barside Buzz for you today from same source who says Tobey Maguire and Hugh Jackman are the leads of Secret Wars and RDJ agrees an MCU return. We shall start with the start, and this is not the first time I’ve heard this plan rumored from Marvel.

Maybe not as leads, but we’ve certainly covered rumors both were set to be in Secret Wars. I would also guess that Tom Holland might also be a lead, but that might depend on The Kang Dynasty which he is supposed to lead. Like, does he die and have to be resurrected by these two again?
There is one other name I always figured would at least get a guest starring role and that’s Tony Stark, aka RDJ. If we are pulling people in from the Multiverse to fight in Secret Wars then why not have an Iron Man variant?

Funnily enough, Variety has been saying that Marvel are looking to bring back the OG Avengers. You can see our coverage of that above Well, now MTTSH says he’s already agreed to return. No claims this is for Secret Wars, but where else right?

I guess we shall just have to wait and see if these rumors check out. MTTSH does have around a 70% hit rate for Marvel by my rudimentary calculations. In other words, she does get things wrong, but not normally too much wrong. That’s a very good hit rate compared to many others. Hell, 50% is decent unless you’re a trade.
