For Brian Tyree Henry, it was a dream come true to be on the voice cast of Transformers One. It was even better that he voiced D-16, who later became known as Megatron in this origins story of the Transformers.
The voice cast also includes Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, with Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm.

Transformers One is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with voice actor Brian Tyree Henry about his love of Transformers, Megatron, and the Decepticons.
Brian Tyree Henry rose to stardom tremendously as Alfred “Paper Boi” Miles in the FX comedy-drama Atlanta, which earned him a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. On television, he had roles on Boardwalk Empire, This Is Us, and How to Get Away with Murder. In 2018, he had breakthrough roles in Steve McQueen’s heist film Widows and Barry Jenkins’ romance If Beale Street Could Talk. Also, he appeared on film for Child’s Play, Joker, Godzilla vs. Kong, Bullet Train, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, and the MCU film Eternals as Phastos. As a stage actor, he made his debut in the Shakespeare in the Park production of Romeo and Juliet and appeared on Broadway with The Book of Mormon.
Transformers One is in theaters on Friday, September 20.
