Many outlets including Deadline feels Zaslav may be hinting that Gunn’s next movie is a Superman/Supergirl joint sequel. We know Gunn has confirmed it’s not a direct Superman 2 film, but that Superman is heavily involved in it.
However, Zaslav does also use Super family when referring to the DCU as a whole in his next line. Therefore, maybe its reading into things too much to say Gunn’s next film will act as a sequel to both Superman/Supergirl? I guess we’ll find out eventually.
