Based on Quentin Tarantino’s personality and the movies he’s graced us with over his twenty-five-year career, it’d be easy to assume the dude was a total film snob. I mean, when it comes to the actual use of physical film, yes he is, but in terms of the stories he’s willing to actually watch on the big screen, the dude tends to be pretty unbiased. Be it crappy B-movies or big blockbusters, he seems like the type who could find something to love about any movie.
But just how up to date is he on the world of superheroes? After all, we are currently living in such an age where those are the big thing. Has he avoided them altogether? Actually no, it sounds like, while he’s not 100% up to speed that he hasn’t made any move to avoid them, as he said to Empire.

“I think the only comic-book movies I saw last year at theaters were Wonder Woman and Black Panther. But about a couple of weeks ago I started catching up with some of the Marvel movies so I could go see Endgame. I just finished Captain America: Civil War, so next up is Doctor Strange.”
But, so far, what are his favorite MCU films? Apparently, he’s a huge fan of Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok.
“I loved it. It was my favorite one of the series since The Avengers – drastically my favorite.”
Not that you need the money, Marvel Studios, but go ahead and throw that up on your box art going forward. I’m sure film fans would be super stoked to see that name strewn across the front of a Blu-ray cover.
