Wonder Woman Origin Trailer: Witness The Future Of Justice!

A lot of weight seems to be unfairly placed on Wonder Woman’s shoulders. While both Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad have earned more than their fair share at the box office, there’s still a huge dark cloud surrounding the whole of the DC Extended Universe. Simply put, even if each of the films have had their redeemable traits, they’re not nearly as good as fans had hoped they would be. Some have gone so far as to say that if Wonder Woman doesn’t turn things around, then they’re about ready to give up on the franchise altogether.

This puts a whole lot of pressure on Wonder Woman. In addition to be the first female-led superhero film in the modern era of superhero films, it also needs to be the movie that changes DC Films’ luck with critics and fans. The movie seems off to a promising start. It’s a visual wonder to look at, the story seems accessible enough, and the marketing has been off the hook. Now, it’s just a matter of execution.

Sadly, we still have a solid three months until we get to see the finished product, but to hold us over, Warner Bros has given us yet another trailer to feast our eyes upon until that fateful day.

Take a look down below:

This trailer marks another big win for the marketing department over at Warner Bros, but to be frank, marketing has never been the problem. Between Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad, fans had a hard time believing those could turn out bad considering the amazing trailers we got from those ones. Hopefully with this one, DC Films will have their first critical hit of the DCEU.

The synopsis for Wonder Woman is below:

“Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.”

What do you think of the new trailer? Let us know your thoughts down below!

Wonder Woman hits theaters on June 2, 2017.
