The Arrowverse has always been a place where fan service has thrived. While there are countless Easter Eggs all over shows like The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl, they’re also rampant in Arrow. Early on during the Suicide Squad arc (yes, there was a mini Suicide Squad arc), we got to hear Harley Quinn in one of the prison cells, but don’t think that’s the last we’ll hear of Gotham City shenanigans.
In a new clip released by The CW, we see Oliver Queen battling an onslaught of journalists after a photo of him as the Green Arrow came out. In it, he makes a direct reference to Bruce Wayne himself of Batman fame. Check out the clip below!

Of course, while Oliver is making a claim that it would be ridiculous that Bruce Wayne would be a vigilante, the irony there is that we all know he’s Batman. Good stuff, and although I doubt we’ll ever get a direct Batman connection, it’s things like this that really make the CW DC universe all kinds of fun.
