One of the best (and worst) things about Game of Thrones is the killing off of major characters early. This would destroy many shows, except in GoT the characters get better and better, mainly due to expert writing and character development. When the show first started we assumed, at least the people that had not read the books, that the Starks would be key to the series. As of now, the only Starks alive are Sansa, Arya, Bran, Jon Snow (technically a Targaryen), and Benjen.

With Season 7 coming up soon, many are speculating on who will die, and rest assured, there will at least be a few. However, thanks to the loose tongue of Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) at the 2017 British Academy Film Awards, we can pretty much assume she will make it to the final season. She was asked about her involvement in the X-Men and how it would affect her role in GoT.

“We’re about to start shooting the next X-Men, we’ve just finished shooting season 7 of [Game of] Thrones, and I’ve got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts. And then we go on to season 8.”

“We” go on to season 8? Well, I assume she could die and she will have a flashback, but I highly doubt it. I believe that many fans would like to see her sit on the Iron Throne, especially since she has risen in power and stature perhaps more than any other character, considering from where she started. I always wanted to see Varys win the throne, “For the realm,” and it is almost impossible to guess with this show.

Season 7 will be shortened in episodes, but I am guessing the ones we do get will all be spectacular. Let’s here from you guys! Who will eventually win the Iron Throne? Did Turner just completely spoil her character for season 7?
