Earlier this week, Thai mini-studio Benetone Films obtained the rights to the indie drama “Wishing For a Dream.” It’s set for a release date later this year.

Latino-Review has the exclusive trailer for this wonderful dramedy that stars Sara Malakul Lane, a Thai-British model turned actress. The film is a documentary-style story about an actress facing the hard challenges of Hollywood.

Lane, who is also a martial artist, will be also be seen alongside with the upcoming action film “Kickboxer: Vengeance” with Dave Bautista, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Gina Carano. She also stars in the horror film “Pernicious,” which will be released next month.

“Wishing for a Dream” is written and directed by Jared Cohn (“Jailbait,” “12/12/12”).

The film will be released theatrically in Thailand and VOD in the United States late this year.
