Justice League looks to be quite the fanservice-y entry to the pantheon of DC films, and it sounds like we may have a lot to think Danny Elfman for. Not too long ago, Elfman confirmed that he would be giving a dark twist to the classic Superman Theme from John Williams, but that won’t be the only film who will be getting a theme revival.
Speaking with Reporte Indigo, Elfman stated that his original 1989 Batman theme will also be returning in Justice League. Check out the video below, or the quote underneath, to see what he has to say:

“No, you will not hear a new theme for Batman. You’ll hear Batman’s theme…” Elfman said.
When asked if he meant the theme from Batman v Superman, Elfman denied that, saying:
“No. You’ll hear Batman’s theme. Batman has only had one them. [My theme]. Hans has done some wonderful, driving, rhythmic stuff, but there has only been one theme and it’s Batman’s theme.”
Are you excited to hear that we’ll have a chance to revisit the 1980s, even for a brief moment, with Batman’s original theme from Tim Burton’s Batman? Let us know down below!
Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
